CUSTECH SENATE APPROVES EXPULSION AND RUSTICATION OF FIVE STUDENTS FOR VARIOUS MISCONDUCTS

The Senate of *Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Kogi State*, has taken decisive disciplinary action against five 200-level students following its 30th Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

In separate letters issued by the Deputy Registrar, Academic Affairs, Mr. Eli Usman Gbadafu, the university management confirmed that the sanctions—ranging from rustication to permanent expulsion—take immediate effect.

The following students have been sanctioned for various offenses bordering on gross misconduct and violations of the university's rules and regulations:

II. VICE-CHANCELLOR’S REMARKS

The Vice-Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu, FNSE, commended the Students’ Disciplinary Committee for their diligent investigation. He reaffirmed the university's stance on maintaining a safe and moral learning environment.
