Gombe State University Opens Part-Time Degree Admission for 2026/2027 Academic Session
The management of Gombe State University (GSU), Tudun Wada, Gombe State, has officially commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its Part-Time Degree Programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
The programme, coordinated through the University's Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Centre, is designed to provide flexible and quality university education for working-class individuals, business owners, and other qualified candidates who wish to earn a bachelor's degree without interrupting their daily activities.

Admission Requirements
Applicants can apply through either the 100 Level Entry or Direct Entry (DE) admission route.
100 Level Entry
Candidates must possess at least five (5) O'Level credit passes in relevant subjects from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or an equivalent examination.
Direct Entry (DE)
Applicants must possess any of the following recognized qualifications:
- National Diploma (ND)
- Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
- Any other recognized A-Level qualification
Programme Duration
The duration of the programme depends on the mode of entry:
- 100 Level Entry: Five (5) years
- Direct Entry: Four (4) years
