URGENT ADMINISTRATIVE CONCESSION: TEMPORARY WAIVER FOR MEDICAL SCREENING PAYMENTS
Share

The Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) has formally ratified a Temporary Waiver for medical screening payments. This decision follows strategic appeals from key stakeholders and is aimed at ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent students from participating in the First Semester Examinations.
By granting this concession, the institution reaffirms its commitment to student welfare while maintaining the mandatory nature of health clearance as a prerequisite for full academic registration.

THE CONCESSION LIST: REGISTRATION WINDOW AND PROTOCOLS

To benefit from this waiver and secure eligibility for the upcoming exams, all affected students must manually register their names on the Official Concession List. This list will serve as the primary verification document for examination clearance.

Students are required to visit the Rabiatu Soaga Memorial Health Centre during the following strictly designated windows:

  • Friday, 27/03/2026: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Monday, 30/03/2026: 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

Failure to register within these specific timeframes will result in the forfeiture of the waiver, and affected students may be barred from the examination halls.

REDEMPTION DEADLINE: SECOND SEMESTER OBLIGATIONS

It is critical to note that this is a Deferred Payment, not a cancellation of the fee. The Management has set a firm deadline for the settlement of these outstanding medical charges.

  • The Mandate: All waived payments MUST be redeemed in full.
  • The Deadline: On or before the Second Week of Resumption for the Second Semester.
  • The Consequence: Students who fail to redeem their payments by this deadline will face a suspension of their academic results and will be denied registration for the subsequent semester.

EXAMINATION CLEARANCE AND COMPLIANCE

The "Concession List" generated at the Rabiatu Soaga Memorial Health Centre will be forwarded directly to the Examination Committee and various Departmental Invigilators.

  • Verification: During the exams, invigilators will cross-reference student IDs against this list to grant entry.
  • Urgency: Given the proximity of the exams, students are urged to treat this notice with the utmost priority and circulate it across all departmental platforms.

CONCLUSION: ENSURING A HITCH-FREE EXAMINATION PERIOD

The MAPOLY Management encourages all students to take advantage of this "Gracious Access" to focus on their academic performance. Ensure you visit the health centre within the Monday morning window if you missed the Friday session.
