The Governing Council of the University of Uyo is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Vice-Chancellor to lead the institution into its next phase of academic and administrative growth. Following a rigorous, transparent selection process that prioritized merit and integrity, the Council has approved the appointment of Professor Christopher Nyong Ekong.
