This new directive will take effect from 1st September, 2025.

Affected Applications:
The upward review only applies to passport applications made within Nigeria.
Applications processed by Nigerians in the diaspora remain unaffected by this change.
New Passport Fees in Nigeria:
32-page Passport (5 years validity): ₦100,000
64-page Passport (10 years validity): ₦200,000
Passport Fees for Nigerians Abroad (Unchanged):
32-page Passport (5 years validity): $150
64-page Passport (10 years validity): $230
