The Management of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO) wishes to inform all fresh students of the 2025/2026 academic session that the University’s Orientation Programme has been scheduled as follows:
Programme Details
- Date: Tuesday, 24th – Wednesday, 25th March, 2026
- Time: 9:45 AM daily
- Venue: School Football Field
Purpose of the Orientation Programme
The Orientation Programme is designed to properly introduce students to the University system and prepare them for a successful academic journey.
It will cover key areas such as:
- Academic structure and expectations
- Administrative procedures
- Social life within the University
- Ethical standards and student conduct
The programme will also feature presentations from Principal Officers and other key stakeholders, who will guide students on how to navigate their academic life effectively.
Mandatory Attendance
Attendance at the Orientation Programme is compulsory for all fresh students.
Students are therefore expected to:
- Arrive early and be seated before 9:45 AM each day
- Participate actively in all sessions
Failure to attend may affect students’ understanding of important academic and institutional guidelines.
