GUIDELINES FOR VISITS TO THE OFFICE OF THE VICE-CHANCELLOR

The Management of Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) hereby issues the following approved guidelines for all internal and external visitors seeking an audience with the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.

These measures have been implemented to streamline official engagements, ensure the prompt reception of guests, and maintain the highest level of administrative efficiency within the Vice-Chancellery.

I. DESIGNATED VISITING SCHEDULE

To allow for focused administrative work and orderly coordination, the following schedule is now in effect:

• Official Visiting Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• Designated Hours: 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Daily Closing Time: 5:00 p.m. prompt.

II. VISITOR PROTOCOLS & CODE OF CONDUCT

All visitors—including staff, students, and the general public—are expected to adhere to the following four (4) rules of engagement:

1. Strict Adherence: Visits must take place only on the designated days (Tuesdays/Thursdays) unless a prior official appointment has been formally approved.
   1. Waiting Area: Visitors are required to wait in the Designated Waiting Room of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office. Waiting in the Secretary’s office is strictly prohibited.
   2. Conduct: Proper decorum and orderly behavior must be maintained at all times within the administrative premises.
   3. Timing: All official visits and engagements must be concluded by the 5:00 p.m. daily closing mark.

III. EXCEPTIONS & APPOINTMENTS

While the general window is between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on the specified days, individuals with prior approved arrangements or urgent institutional matters as cleared by the Vice-Chancellery may be attended to outside these windows.

These directives are designed to ensure that every visitor is received in a respectful and timely manner without disrupting the core executive functions of the University. The Management appreciates the cooperation of the University community and the public in upholding these standards.
