The Management of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), Calabar has released an official procedure for students seeking a refund from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
In a statement issued to the public, the University outlined clear steps and documentation requirements to ensure a smooth and efficient refund process for all affected students.
Required Documents for Refund Application
According to the guidelines, students applying for the refund are required to compile and submit the following documents:
- Photocopies of all stamped school fee receipts
- A printout of the NELFUND disbursement page
- A formal application letter addressed to the Bursar of the University
Students are advised to ensure that all documents are accurate, complete, and clearly presented to avoid unnecessary delays.
Submission Process
Applicants are instructed to arrange all required documents neatly in a file folder before submission. The completed documents should be submitted to the Coordinator of the ICT Unit for verification. After proper review, the ICT Unit will confirm the authenticity of the documents and make the necessary recommendation to the Bursar for further processing.
