The management of Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology (AFUST), Aliero, (formerly known as Kebbi State University of Science & Technology - KSUSTA), has officially outlined the registration protocol for all newly admitted undergraduate students. This guide provides a roadmap for "Freshers" to navigate the transition from provisional admission to fully registered studentship for the 2025/2026 academic session. Phase 1: Online Screening and Acceptance Before visiting the campus, students must complete the initial digital hurdles. This phase confirms your intent to join the university. Online Screening: If you haven't completed this, log on to the University Application Portal. Pay a non-refundable ₦2,000 fee, fill out the application form, and print your Online Screening Form.Offer Letters: Check your registered email for a Conditional Offer Letter.Acceptance Fee: Pay the ₦5,000 Admission Acceptance Fee online via the portal to download your formal Offer of Provisional Admission. Phase 2: Physical Verification and File Collection Physical activities on campus commence on Tuesday, 27th January, 2026.Bank Payment: Pay ₦1,500 at any Ecobank Nigeria Plc branch for the Student Registration Record Files. Reporting to Center: Head to the designated Registration Centre on campus with your Ecobank payment evidence. File Setup: You will collect three (3) registration files.Credential Preparation: Photocopy all required documents and insert them into each of the three files. You must present your original credentials for sighting.Phase 3: Registration Fee and Course EnrollmentOnce your physical credentials have been verified and cleared, you move to the final administrative steps.Confirmation of Admission: After successful screening, you will be issued an official Confirmation of Admission Letter.Invoice Generation: Log on to the student portal to generate a payment invoice for your School Registration Fees.
Warning to Non-Indigenes: The university uses a strict verification system. Any non-indigene falsely claiming Kebbi State origin will be charged double registration fees upon discovery.

Course Registration: After fee payment, complete your online course registration and print the necessary forms (Course Registration Form, Physical Examination Form, etc.).Phase 4: Final Clearances and Submission Your registration is not complete until it is signed off by various university service departments. Student Affairs: Get your registration payments verified and signed.
University Clinic: Register with the clinic for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).University Library: Obtain your Library Borrower's Ticket and official Student ID card.
Final Submission: Submit all three (3) fully completed registration files to the Academic Division.
