The Management of Federal Polytechnic Nekede (FEDPONEK) has officially ratified the schedule for the 2025/2026 First Semester Computer-Based Test (CBT) Continuous Assessment. This exercise is strictly for HND I and ND I students across both Regular and Evening programmes. Following the memo Ref: FPN/R/82/MI/35, the assessment week is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, 28th January 2026, and conclude on Saturday, 7th February 2026.
Core Requirements and Protocols
Students must arrive at the CBT center with their QR Code-enabled identity cards, as this is the only valid document for biometric verification and access to the testing platform. The Polytechnic emphasizes that the assessment is a critical component of the semester's grading system, and in line with existing academic regulations, there will be no provision for a mop-up exercise for those who miss their slots. All students are advised to be seated at least 30 minutes before their designated time.
Comprehensive Timetable for Regular and Evening Sessions
The morning sessions for Regular students run from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM, while the Evening programme students are scheduled for 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
On Wednesday, 28/1/2026, the assessment begins with HND I students from the School of Business & Management Technology (SBMT). On Thursday, 29/1/2026, HND I students from SICT, SEDT, and SOHT (Regular) or SICT and SEDT (Evening) will take their tests. Friday, 30/1/2026, is dedicated to HND I students in SIAS, SET, and SAAT.
The following week, Monday, 2/2/2026, covers ND I students in SBMT focusing on Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Cooperative Economics, and Marketing. Tuesday, 3/2/2026, transitions to ND I students in SBMT specializing in OTM, PSOM, Public Administration, and Taxation. Wednesday, 4/2/2026, involves ND I students from SET and SOHT. Thursday, 5/2/2026, is for ND I students in SICT and SEDT, while the week concludes on Friday, 6/2/2026, with ND I students from SIAS and SAAT.
